We are so pleased you have chosen Theydon Bois School and we want you and your child to feel settled and part of our community as quickly as possible. Welcome to Reception

We are so excited to welcome you and your child to Theydon Bois Primary School. We have attached some information for you here, which may help with any questions you have about your child’s entry to primary school.

We have a meeting for all new parents in June. The link to information shared is below if you need it.

Children are invited in to see their new classrooms and meet their new teachers in July. We have excellent relationships with the pre-schools in the village. We are able to visit the children in these settings and see the children at play. We always ensure we have spoken to key workers for all children in other settings outside of Theydon Bois to help with a smooth transition.
